BigBear.ai is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the Product Sector of the company.

 

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and strategically identify and recruit qualified candidates for a variety of skill sets across the company’s portfolio of capabilities. Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform full life-cycle recruitment duties, to include but not be limited to:
  • Partner effectively and strategically with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs, identify position requirements, and fill openings in a timely manner
  • Proactively recruit and source qualified candidates for open positions via traditional (i.e. job boards) and non-traditional methods
  • Seek new, creative methods for identifying and attracting talent
  • Screen candidate resumes and conduct employment pre-screening interviews in a prompt and thorough manner
  • Assess candidates’ fit for the company and current openings, providing recommendations to hiring managers for consideration either for active opportunities or pipeline needs that lead to recognition as a trusted advisor on the hiring team
  • Communicate proactively with hiring managers on the status of their open roles
  • Manage the interview flow with candidates and hiring managers, to include scheduling and managing the feedback process
  • Work with the hiring managers and HR team to prepare offer details, extend offers, and follow through with the candidate from acceptance to start
  • Strive to provide a highly effective and positive experience for candidates and managers alike, by maintaining a high level of integrity, credibility, and skilled communications
  • Manage the flow of all applicants via company’s applicant tracking system in compliance with OFCCP guidelines
  • Assist with proposal team staffing priorities and overall proposal process support
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for company’s core capabilities
  • Provide input on staffing reports on a weekly basis, to maintain effective communication and alignment of open needs
  • Compile and communicate recruiting data and metrics as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with all company hiring policies and practices
  • Represent BigBear.ai internally and externally, modeling the company’s core values

 

Qualifications:

 

[Required]

 

  • 3-8 years of experience (minimum) in Technology/Software recruiting
  • Bachelors or Masters (BS/BA or MS) Degree or equivalent work experience
  • An understanding of full life-cycle recruiting, from requirements analysis to hiring, to include understanding real job needs at a technical and results level
  • Experience with proactive sourcing to include leveraging job boards, CRM, ATS, career fairs, and social media, among other methods, to maximize candidate quality and personal productivity
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of candidates and management, to include those geographically dispersed
  • Ability to build effective networks and relationships to identify and recruit outstanding passive candidates and maintain a strong pipeline of talent
  • Ability to add strategic impact and influence with the hiring decisions, to include taking initiative on new recruiting methodology and creative approaches to hiring
  • Individual must be flexible and be able to multi-task, prioritize and operate in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Strong organizational, communication (both written and verbal) and networking skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaborate as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work surge hours as required during proposal time frames

  • Experience recruiting for a government contractor
  • Prior experience and interest in leading projects and special initiatives
  • Experience with an automated applicant tracking system
