Clearance Required: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
The Subject Matter Expert (SME) performs a variety tasks and duties associated with malware (malicious software), analysis, and cyber operations. The SME will have the ability to perform duties associated with software development & integration, system design & architecture, analysis, risk reduction, and overall support of personnel & systems performing analysis and repurposing of malware and underlying repository. Additional scope of tasks can include software engineering/development, systems engineering, malware collection, mentoring, and program management. The SME shall serve as the primary knowledge leader for all stakeholders. They provide senior guidance and support to development & analysis teams on technical and programmatic requirements as well as requirements analysis and derivation of tasks. The SME shall conduct technical studies, analysis, and evaluation to improve organizational knowledge of doctrine, effectiveness, training leadership, contractor personnel status, and gaps. The Subject Matter Expert shall advise on viability of alternative approaches as well as conduct extensive interaction and maintain working relationships among various representatives of the Intelligence Community (e.g. military services, second- and third-party customers and vendors).
- Considered an “expert” in a specific need related to the Cyber mission (this can include domain expertise, technical/software expertise, network/malware analysis) as demonstrated by experience, certifications, training, and education.
- Minimum of five (5) years of overall work experience in the subject area.
- Professional experience should include expertise in any one of the following areas as they relate to Cyber: Software Engineering, Systems Administration, System Engineering, Technical Analysis, Hardware Engineering, Research Scientist, or Malware.
