Clearance Required: Top Secret, SCI with Polygraph

This is a unique opportunity for a candidate who is looking for research work in Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). Our customer is looking for someone to research and develop new security constructs for ultra-high frequency (UHF) RFID integrated circuit technology. The position includes research, development, field testing, and participating in technical briefings and technology transfer initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university is required.  Five (5) years of additional hardware design engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Seven (7) years’ experience as a Hardware Design Engineer in integrated circuit or microelectronic component design or reverse engineering of the same is required.

Within the last ten (10) years, a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in FPGA development including VHDL/Verilog design, VHDL coding, test vector generation, test/simulation, debugging, circuit placement-and-routing and generation of performance metrics on Xilinx FPGA development systems on a Linux operating system.

Within the last five (5) years, a minimum of three (3) years’ experience research and developing EPC Gen2v2 RFID circuitry and/or RFID applications.
