DevOps and Agile IV & V
PCI provides expert support to batch and streaming analytics in multiple domains and apply machine learning and predictive analytics on those result sets. This effort focuses on evolving PCI's existing capabilities within analytics and visualization to incorporate emerging technologies in data analytics (machine learning, deep learning, AI, quantum) and visualization (virtual, augmented, and mixed reality solutions). Our goal is to be prepared as these technologies are incorporated into our customer's workflow.
Amid exponentially increasing volumes of data, big data analytics enable analysts to find the needles in the haystack. Analysts leverage visualization technologies to better understand the data and to convey the results of their analyses to decision-makers. PCI provides data analytics and visualization support on several contracts across the Intelligence Community and DOD. We incorporate emerging technologies in data analytics (machine learning, deep learning, AI, quantum) and visualization (virtual, augmented, and mixed reality solutions) to help design, develop, and deliver the next generation of analytic tools and techniques. Our data analytics and visualization tools support intelligence analysis, financial analysis and planning, automated testing, predictive analytics, and continuous monitoring of large, IT environments.
PCI leverages agile to develop capabilities. We deliver a minimum viable product (MVP) and work closely with analysts and other end users to evolve the capability. PCI’s Gibraltar data analytic and visualization platform started as an MVP, but has now been in use for 4+ years. Gibraltar collects log and networking data from enterprise customers, enabling near real-time scanning of the IT infrastructure for potential threats. It integrates capabilities from Nifi, Spark, Hadoop, and Elasticsearch to enable support for a variety of analytic needs (IT benchmarking, insider threat monitoring, etc.) within large, diverse enterprise environments.
