Community Involvement

PCI is passionate about giving back and creating an impact in the communities we serve. We make charitable programs, volunteering, and sponsorships a priority across the firm.  We love to see our employees lend their talents to organizations that help make our communities special. Many of our employees donate their time and expertise, serving in charitable organizations, assisting in academic environments, and leading efforts focused on diversity, equality, and opportunity.  Some highlights of the programs and organizations PCI supports are:

The Fisher House Foundation

PCI’s premier charitable partnership.  Through PCI’s annual charity golf tournament and in partnership with our sponsors, we are proud to have donated over $162,000 in our support their critical mission.  The Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military & veteran’s families can stay free of charge, while a loved one is in the hospital.

American Red Cross

PCI routinely matches the charitable contributions of our employees for donations supporting disaster relief and emergency assistance efforts to include recent hurricanes, floods, and earthquakes.  The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization that provides emergency assistance, disaster relief, and disaster preparedness education in the United States.

AFCEA and Young AFCEANs of Central Maryland

AFCEA Central Maryland Chapter (AFCEA-CMD) is a non-profit membership association dedicated to providing an ethical, interactive forum for sharing knowledge and building relationships across government, military, industry and academia.

Wounded Warrior Project

The Wounded Warrior Project is a charity and veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, services and events for wounded veterans of the military actions following September 11, 2001.

Folds of Honor

Since 2007, the Folds of Honor has carried forth this singular, noble mission. To provide educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service-members. Our motto says it best. Honor Their Sacrifice.

Hero Dogs

Hero Dogs, Inc., a Maryland 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, improves quality of life for our nation’s heroes by raising, training, and placing service dogs and other highly skilled canines, free of charge with lifetime support of the partnerships.

Best Buddies International

Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

The First Tee

The First Tee, a youth development organization, impacts the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

The ALS Association

The ALS Association is an American nonprofit organization that raises money for research and patient services, promotes awareness about and advocates in state and federal government on issues related to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

First LEGO League

FIRST LEGO League is an international competition organized by FIRST for elementary and middle school students. Along their discovery journey, they develop critical thinking and team-building skills, basic STEM applications, and even presentation skills, as they must present their solutions with a dash of creativity to judges.

The Samaritan Women

The Samaritan Women Institute for Shelter Care is a national initiative that seeks to build up a stronger, more stable, research-proven, and peer-supported landscape of service providers who can serve the needs of survivors.

Zaching Against Cancer Foundation

Zaching Against Cancer Foundation (ZACF), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, offers a wide range of programs and support for cancer patients, caregivers, family members and others affected by the disease.  ZACF provides the Little Things Program which offers services and support for patients and caregivers, scholarships and internships for kids who are either fighting cancer or who have been impacted by a family member with cancer, research funding to help find a cure for this disease.

Greater Washington Urban League

The Greater Washington Urban League (GWUL or the League) is on a mission to increase the economic and political empowerment of historically vulnerable and diverse populations. For 80 years, the League has stood on society’s frontlines as well as in the trenches serving as a safety net and facilitator of opportunity in Washington, DC and Montgomery County and Prince George’s County, Maryland.

Digital Harbor High School

Digital Harbor High School is a magnet high school located in Baltimore, Maryland focused on producing an always better product of qualified, motivated young people preparing for professional careers.
